Welcome back!
For anyone out there who wants to work from home and is a bit confused on how to start, or you are working from home, but don’t feel you are accomplishing all you need to or want to be doing then you should definitely take the time to check out Mom Masterminds.
I started out on the Internet, attempting to work from home, at least part time back in 2005. I had just joined a direct sales company, and though they primarily marketed with the home parties and by obtaining repeat customers to buy the product I saw many ladies online marketing their products similar to mine and I thought hey maybe I can do it all online and make more money so I began my pursuit. Needless to say it was a worn out pursuit, one that left me frustrated most of the time. I spent money I didn’t have and made nothing in return. At this point my current ministry and business, which I now know is my “true calling” and worth pursuit was just a twinkle in my eye, just a thought, something I thought at the time I could never truly make happen. I doubted myself, my abilities and my calling so much back then.
Fast forward a year and I began to gain confidence. I had begun to do some speaking engagements and gained a little confidence. I knew enough from being online “attempting” to do some work from home that I needed a website for this new venture so I bought a domain and had some online friends help me create one. I was very blessed to have these friends whom I am still working with in one way or another today. But, I still lacked a great deal. A few months later, I happened upon Mom Masterminds. The resources and information looked amazing but I was not in the position to pay for them.
Then, it finally came time where I was at a cross road, almost a year later even and I had to decide to step out on faith, quit my job in ministry to do ministry full time with Beauty by Design. At this time I knew I needed Mom Masterminds more than ever so I joined, then I got cold feet and dropped out for a month. Finally, one Sunday I picked up a Parent Life Magazine at church and began flipping through its pages, shocked I ran across an article about Mom Masterminds’ owner, Kelly McCausey. The article drew me back to Mom Masterminds and this time I stayed. In fact, I am now a “graduate” a part of the program Kelly has there, but will soon be totally revamped. In fact, If you are thinking about joining, JOIN NOW before the program and pricing changes.
Here are just a few things Mom Masterminds offers:
There is a free 7-day trial.
There is a free 9-day email course for people who aren’t ready to sign up for the trial membership yet.
In addition to the expertise of Alice Seba & Kelly McCausey, there are plenty of seasoned graduates in the membership area that provide invaluable advice on a daily basis.
This is a serious-minded group and they are there to learn and grow their business.
The focus is always on working smarter and not harder. We’re all busy moms and we want to make sure we make the most of our online businesses without taking away from quality time with family.
The forum is available 24/7, so you can post your questions anytime.
The private forum has been the breeding ground for many successful business partnerships and joint ventures.
There is a new course every single month that teaches a specific skill or helps moms overcome some barriers to their success.
Currently Mom Masterminds is $39.97 and after 18 months you become a lifetime member. The price of the new open ended monthly membership will be $24.97/mo - compensating for the fact that membership fees will not end.
Anyone who joins before end of day on August 8th will also be grandfathered and only have to pay 18 months of $39.97 (or pay the one time cost of $599) and then will enjoy lifetime free membership after that.
There you have it….now go check it out here!
I Love Being a WAHM – MEME

I was tagged by Carrie Lauth to do this blog meme, started by Kelly McCausey over at Sparkplugging and it is such a great topic I sure couldn’t resist a good tag. I can really appreciate this blog meme even more today, as I was able to do something I wanted to do without asking anyone for permission.
You see this blog meme is called “Why I Love Being a WAHM”. (Work at Home Mom) I have been a work at home mom for just over a year. When my baby girl was born last March I became a full time WAHM and I haven’t regretted that decision once.
Just today I experienced one of the reasons I love being a WAHM. I got to do what I WANTED instead of work. Today that just so happened to be going to see one of my bestfriends and their newborn (born yesterday) baby at the hospital out of town. Several of my other friends wanted to go but couldn’t. Guess why? They couldn’t take off work.
Another reason, that I also felt today is that I get to spend the day with my kids. Today, though I was only away a few hours I missed my kids. I know that if I had to be away from them daily for work I’d be miserable. In fact, my heart weighed heavy as I discussed with my friend when she would be taking her newborn son to daycare. Can you believe he’ll only be 8 weeks old. None of my children have had to do that (my previous job was part time and my son went with me). I’m due with baby #3 in just over 6 weeks and again, he won’t ever see the door of a daycare center.
Finally, another of my favorite reasons, though I’m sure there are more that I love working from home is I love what I do. I am doing what I feel God created me to do and I get to work from home while doing it. What could be better than that? I am fulfilling my God given calling of ministering to others, specifically teen and tween girls and their moms in my ministry Beauty by Design Ministries.
Now, I know a lot of WAHMs out there, as I am fortunate to interact with them via numerous WAHM communities so I know you all want to blog about this on your blog, but I’m tagging a few of you just in case.
