Last week I listed this fabulous giveaway by My Precious Kid here on the blog. I also asked for your “chore” tips to help me get my little ones to do their “chores”. I had several great ideas given. I love the colors tip and I realize now that I MUST play along, “do I have to?” Just kidding.

Since I have once again hopped on the frugal wagon and am trying my hand out again at couponing I have been doing alot of research online finding a bunch of great couponing blogs and loads of wonderful info. Like Heather’s vlog here. This is what I learned from it and thought was worth passing along to you. I think I’ll put these 5 Top Money Saving Strategies to use soon:
Step 1 : Make a monthly menu plan.
Step 2: Make a master shopping list. A list of everything you buy on a regular basis. If you buy it more than 3 or 4 times a year it belongs on this list.
Step 3: Create a price book. Write down the prices of the things that you buy the most often.
Step 4: Stockpiling. (Most prices cycle every 12 weeks).
Step 5: Use coupons strategically. Wait till the item is on sale, take it to a store that doubles coupons and then buy the smallest bottle.
