Two Surprises in One Week

Welcome back!
Today my husband surprised me and the kids with a new puppy. (Our Basset hound ran away back in January and never returned.) You should have seen the look on the kid’s faces, heck the look on my face for that matter. I was super surprised as I had tried to convince him to get one several times before so I am happy that he finally decided to on his own. It is a lab / sheep dog and is super cute. My oldest named him Hardy. I think it fits him.
This is my husband’s second surprise of the week, makes me wonder, what’s getting into him. On Monday he surprised me with a “just because” gift. It was a cute printed tshirt.
Everyone took a turn holding him.

Just found this on my friend Tamara’s Blog. I am going to play along because this sort of thing is just what I need today. I am feeling down, and have had a crummy day so I want to cheer myself up and feel accomplished.

So here are my answers:
- 2 accomplishments this week: I completed a couple of my spring cleaning projects! I cleaned up my kitchen before bed every night this week!
- Something that made me smile: When I went to check on my son on Wednesday to see if he had been playing on the playground since he has been not wanting to because of some bullies and some kids had come to play with him in the spot he has been sitting for days because he is scared to go play.
- Something that made me not smile: My bills I had to pay today, ugh!
- One pleasing surprise: I got an extra order or two for articles, which gave me some additional income.
