Yesterday was a wild day.  I was having a really, really good day. I had found some great places online and had been introduced to some really neat opportunities for this blog, but then guess what? I twisted my ankle, seriously and it hurt sooo bad and then it was like I lost my brain. Now, I can’t remember what it was that I was suppose to blog about here as a part of the things that I was introduced to yesterday and promised someone I would blog about one of those things.

So, as a result I’m just going to recap the things that I signed up with or were introduced to yesterday so that I don’t miss something.  Hopefully, I still won’t.  One of the things that I signed up for yesterday that you will be seeing on my blog very soon is videos that I will be posting at Newbaby.com .  As you already may have read, I won a FLIP camera and I am now going to be vlogging or video blogging. Yesterday I was asked to join newbaby.com as an official mom vlogger and so my vlogs will be posted on their site.  Head over and check it out. I have already created my profile but won’t have any vlogs up until Monday when my FLIP
is suppose to be here!

Also, after reading a dozen or so ladies blog about Blissdom 08′ which I unfortunately missed. I was curious about one of the sponsors of this grand event, One 2 One Network, so I headed over to their site and they are all about mom bloggers so I signed up. Can’t wait to hear more from them.

I am truly loving the idea of making mommy blogging a career, and in lieu of that I am going to be heading over to webinar on the subject in a little less than an hour, put on by Lynn Terry of ClickNewz.com I can’t wait!

The thing is though, she started this webinar because the mom bloggers at Bllissdom 08′ were not aware of the many ways they could make money through blogging, but me on the other hand well I was seeking to make money online before I even began mommy blogging. I was building websites, like this one, and this one, and this one, and this one. I loved it and I was crazy to learn anything I could from inspiring moms like Lynn and others at Mom Masterminds, like her, and her.  And quite honestly there are so many other women I could name.  I would fill up a whole post just typing out or linking to names of women online that I admire and I have learned from.

So, even though I already definitely have “a good thing going” like Lynn said to me in response to my comment over at her blog about mommy blogging, I am not one to give up another opportunity. So, since I love mommy blogging so much, I will take the opportunity to learn how it can be just another part of my career.

Today seems to be this WAHM’s lucky day. I am feeling like a lucky duck, discovering all kinds of cool things and amazing myself with my HTML capabilities, teaching myself FrontPage and actually created a few graphics with Paint Shop Pro 8 (my trial version that will run out in a few days). Oh how i want to buy it maybe I can swing it if my Stimulus check from the Government comes in. What do you think that would be an “investment in my business” right?? How many of your are with me??

Now, for all my other cool finds. This morning I received an email about a great new service to us WAHMs who have service based businesses such as Virtual Assistants, graphic designers, and ghostwriters, (that’s me) and the offer was to join this great resource called Shelancers which just launched. I was soo excited reading the opt-in page that I signed up immediately and ladies, if you are in the VA biz, or want to start Working from Home I think this place is a steal of a deal and you should join too. Because honestly, I’m Already Proud to be a Shelancer!

Next, I was Twittering and Stephanie of “Adventures in BabyWearing” mentioned her new blog post and so I hopped over and read it and got excited because I so love being a Mommy Blogger and I would love for more companies to target us as mommy bloggers, but I live in a rural community so just as I asked her how do I even start? How do I get involved with all the fancy smancy stuff like she did, she even got to go to Disney!!! So she and the blog post itself pointed me to Mom Select that will help me to do just that. So if you’re a mom blogger who wants to get involved in product reviews, etc. You should check out Mom Select.

Ok for now, I think that’s all of my excitement and cool finds! Oh wait, I am speaking at Mommyfest today too but the audio has yet to be released so keep a check on that and learn the “Advantages to an Organized Life”.
