I Need a Breakthrough

Welcome back!
I am convinced that sometimes you can have so many ideas, so many projects and so much going on that you can get bogged down in it. That’s how I am feeling right now. Things are going along quite nicely for me. I am loving my life, what I do for a living, and generally feeling productive, but I am wanting to work smarter, not harder so I am attempting to truly leverage those things I do have going for me.
Take for instance my new training membership program, Faith Leaps, it is so much fun! I have had a blast creating it. It is truly right up my alley and I love seeing people succeed with it. The thing is, though I know HOW to create it and the ideas just flowed, on the other hand I am not so good at marketing it. There is just something in me that is a little shy when it comes to promotion. I am not good at promoting myself.
That’s where I need a breakthrough, I need help, an action plan. And I am going to get it. I am getting Kelly’s Breakthrough Brainstorming package and I am so excited about it. I have worked with Kelly many times before each time was successful as I know this time will be.
I’m excited about all that I’m getting with this pack including:
- A brainstorming beach ball and a sharpie! Oh and I told Kelly my kids might steal it and she said “Oh I usually include one for the kids too!” Now that’s a woman who understands Work at home moms.
- A Brainstorming Workbook (I love this it is a real workbook mailed to me!
) - 2 – 45 min coaching sessions with Kelly
Honestly, this is worth the price of the whole kit.
As I said before, I have had coaching with Kelly and I have enjoyed my membership at Mom Masterminds for two years now. Every penny I have spent with Kelly has been worth it. If you’re feeling stuck, need some help or just want to do more in your Work at home business I recommend checking all of these resources out.
P.S. The Brainstorming Kit is under $100 until April 1st when the price goes up!
Back From Blissdom

I am back from Blissdom and excited to share with you about it. For me, one of the best parts about Blissdom was the “networking and meeting of online friends“ some I knew online before I went and others I had never met even online. I love meeting new people and the variety of people and blogs was amazing. The ladies on the panels were inspiring, and the sheer power that they had to create a conference that obtained big name sponsors and awesome swag was amazing.
I plan to blog more about the ladies I met, and the awesome swag and the sponsors later. But for now I must tell you the biggest thing I learned from Blissdom and it is probably not going to be something you expected to hear. I walk away from Blissdom on cloud nine, not just because I won an Ipod Itouch from Walmart in the raffle, ( I had to insert that SQUEAL!!) but, because it made me realize just how much I already knew and took for granted.
I am a mom blogger, but I am also a successful online entreprenuer /momprenuer, business and ministry owner, who already knew more than I thought I did about blogging, business, affiliate marketing and more. I have a successful online business, and I had ladies asking me “HOW?” this weekend. (I hope that doesn’t sound boastful, because I was shocked honestly at how far I have come.) Meaning, I haven’t always been at this place.
I also have another thing to be proud of, I know my “voice” as a blogger and business owner and I am not afraid to respect and stay true to that voice. I am a Christian writer, speaker and blogger and my faith is a huge part of what I do. In fact it steers everything that I do. I don’t hide that, I’m not fake about it and I’m proud of that fact. Basically, I am proud that I stay true to my voice and my faith.
Finding, knowing and staying true to your voice was such a huge emphasis at Blissdom, and I am proud that I know that. I also hope that the other mom bloggers who were there can come to the point that they too know their voice and can stay true to it, because it is a sweet place to be.
By the way, on the business side of things, the whole reason I was able to attend Blissdom was because of Kelly McCausey and Mom’s Talk Network, and one of the biggest influences on my knowledge of online business and practice is Kelly’s mentoring group for moms, Mom Masterminds, without it I would be still looking for my own way.
You Won’t Let Me Stay Down

I know it’s been a few days since I’ve posted, and that quite frankly is odd for me. I usually like to get things off of my chest and use my blog as a place to do so, however the last few days well honestly I have been a bit more introspective than I normally am. I think it is just the nature of my worries these days. The worries are over things that I hold a little bit more privately, including my finances and my children.
Since they are private to me and I don’t really want to talk about it, I’ll just say I am continually amazed by the blogosphere by my Twitter Universe of friends and by the wonderful ladies over at Mom Masterminds. Because of all of you, I still have something to be excited about, actually a lot of things and you just won’t let me stay down. For that I say “thank you.” But, I know that I can’t give you all the credit, in fact I have to out of the core of who I am give all the credit to GOD because he put all of you in my life in the first place.
I just recently posted a bit about my worries in Mom Masterminds, an awesome supportive group of ladies and a wonderful resource for WAHMS that gives you more information about making a go at an online business than I’ve ever seen anywhere and I was bombarded with help and support. So, since they are supporting me, I have to support them too.
One of the moms over there is offering two unbelievable offers over on her blog. She is one smart, WAHM and I highly recommend her and her offers if you are have a website and need some advice or if you are trying to grow your passive income through a list. Check out Carrie’s offers here, one is on her coaching to help you with your website and the other is for a course that she wrote with Marie Ynami about using Mini Courses to make passive income.
Then, there is Kelly McCausey, the head woman in charge is offering Twitter backgrounds now. She did mine…check it out here. And then head over to Freshnets and get yours from Kelly.
There are other moms who have done their share of giving me encouragment the last few days and I want to give them a shout out. They include Kay from My Precious Kid.com, Tina from Tina McAllister.com, and Kelli from BriefcaseDiva.com I am so glad to have recently met and become friends with all three of them via Twitter.

I'm Alyssa, a Christian writer & speaker, but most of all a wife & mom with an amazing husband, Greg and three energetic kids. I am in a season of simplifying my life, which God says means trading good for best. Please stay, connect, and follow my journey.
