Welcome back!
Oh bloggy friends how I missed you, my high speed internet and my blog. I have been without DSL for two days. I hobbling along on Dial up checked email and Twittered a bit, but couldn’t do much else. I’m now behind on work and feeling scattered due to wanting to catch up on just about everything cyberspace related as I’m twitching from high speed internet withdrawals. And to think, my new DSL modem which AT&T so graciously overnighted to me was here at 1:59 yesterday and I didn’t discover it was outside my door until 4 pm. SAD! God knew to do that to me because he knew I would not ever make dinner or anything if I had known it was out there so I didn’t discover it till after dinner was in the oven.
Then, last night my dear sweet hubby, trying to make a few extra bucks for the family was needing to go serve a paper in another town and wanted me to tag along. So we left here at 5:20 pm and got back at almost 10 pm too late to do too much web surfing, so I was sadly off to bed without my Internet fix. So, here I am it’s Friday, I”m behind on work, and I”m scattered as ever due to wanting to catch up on too many things at once.
What’s a girl to do?
Family Grocery Night

I used to love grocery shopping, but now that I have 3 kids I’m thinking it’s going to be a bit more difficult to shop. My youngest both need to be in the buggy and so that presents a problem as I will never allow any of my children to ride in the big part of a buggy (my son fell out as an toddler) so, I have to come up with a new strategy.
Yesterday I asked my hubby when we’d be going grocery shopping and was night time an option in his opinion. He said sure and we decided to make it a “family thing” and go get some supper and go grocery shopping this Friday night. To me that’s a win-win I get to spend time with him, the kids, eat out and get groceries.
So, That’s the plan, maybe it’ll turn into a regular occurance I’ll let you know later, I’m sure we’ll have to see how well the first time around turns out first.
For the love of….

Eggos. I heart Eggos. Waffles that is. Yes, they are frozen and yes real ones would be better, but I’m a busy mom and well, these are “convenient”. I’m not sure if its a pregnancy craving or a general love in general. I’ll tell you in a few days, hopefully. However, I did forget to tell you all about the FREE waffle I was blessed with on my trip to Charlotte, NC.
It was the last day there, hubby and I had actually driven over to the rental car road so that we could take it back before going to the airport. We saw “Waffle House” and decided to stop there for lunch. YUM!! I thought, but opted for a patty melt with hashbrowns rather than a waffle. Bad thing was the entire time I sat there I smelled and saw those steamy hot waffles being pulled off the irons, torture, pure torture.
Finally, they pulled one off, the cook hollers for the waitress who needs the waffle, and he hollers, and he hollers until finally he says, “Ma’am”, I look up, “Is he talking to me?” Apparently he is because he continues, “Ma’am, would you like a waffle, on the house?” I think I’m beaming at this point, though I still glance at my husband for reassurance and then quickly reply, “Sure.”
It was amazing, Thick, crisp, but chewy on the inside, you could just smell its sweetness. I did not even put a dab or butter or a trickle of syrup I just pulled it apart with my fingers and ate. YUM is not even enough to describe it. Yes, I confess, I have a love affair with waffles.
