Amy Asks Me About Cell Phone Laws

Welcome back!

I have been in a Cross Blog Conversation with Amy from Family On the Phone.com  now for a couple weeks.  You can catch up on the conversation here.  This week Amy asks me,

Alyssa, my question this time for you is this: How do you feel about the laws regarding talking and texting on the phone while driving? Most of us are guilty of talking on the phone while driving sometimes. Do you use a headset and talk while you drive or not talk at all?

My answer is, most of the time I am a “always obey the rules” kind of gal, but this is my weakness. I do talk on the phone while driving, though I try to abstain from texting while driving because it is to me much more dangerous.

I use my speaker phone almost always though to make it a bit safer. But I do understand why this can be a distraction and not good for us to do.

Now, Amy, My question for you is this,

What is your opinion on cell phones versus land lines?   Do you have a land line at home or only cell phones? We recently went to being a cell phone only family and I believe this is the way of the future, what about you?
