Welcome back!
You may remember me doing these in the past. I always enjoy a good “cross blog conversation” so when Kelly McCausey asked on Twitter if anyone was up to one about cell phones I agreed. I’m cross blog conversing with Amy of Family On the Phone.com about my new BlackBerry Curve cell phone. Check out her great post to see what we’re doing.
Alyssa-A little birdie named Kelly McCausey told me you just got a new BlackBerry! Please tell me what is your favorite feature of your new phone? How does it help you to stay connected to all the areas of your busy life?
Yes, Amy I just got a Blackberry. And actually this is my 2nd time to own one. A while back, last summer to be exact, my husband and I ordered refurbished larger Blackberries online. I”m not sure what model they were but they were older and super bulky. Needless to say we weren’t satisfied and we sold them and went back to our Nokia Flip phones. However, I still was itching to have a “smart phone” to help me keep up with my business, ministry and everything else I have going on in my crazy busy life.
Finally I got up the nerve to buy a refurbished Blackberry Curve on Ebay, since I wasn’t eligible for upgrade through AT & T. I got my Blackberry Curve about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I love the qwerty (not sure if that’s the proper name) keyboard and it’s ease of use in typing. I also love being able to check my email from anywhere. I get quite a few emails and when I’m away from my computer I can easily get overwhelmed when I come back to 100 emails or more. I no longer have to worry about this now that my Blackberry keeps me connected 24/7.
Now, Amy, tell me “What kind of cell phone do you have? Are you a “smart phone” gal or something different. Tell us all about your phone.

Thanks for sharing about your Blackberry curve – that’s my dream phone (if not the iPhone) and I love knowing how it actually FITS your lifestyle. Gotta have a QWERTY pad – especially for emailing!
