It’s a Daily Thing

Welcome back!

to do

Daily Dockets, Daily Quiet Times,  they are daily things.  This week I’ve blogged already about The Simple Mom, a blog I found that I absolutely love.  One of the things the Simple Mom does is a daily docket, or her way of doing a to do list.  I have done something similar for a long time but will be incorporating some of her ideas into my daily to do’s this week.

As I was writing my To Do list for tomorrow I thought of something.  I love to organize, but lately I  have kind of been off the organizing wagon and you can surely tell, not only in my house, but in my work life,  and in my daily to do’s as well.  I was just “off” and like I blogged about a while ago, that something was clearly wrong with me when I wasn’t doing my quiet times. Similarly, I have the same issue when I don’t do a TO DO list or create some type of order for myself by staying organized, so both are basically something you MUST do daily in order to stay on track.  I thought it was pretty fascinating that these two things correlate.  God really is a God of order, not confusion.

“for God is not a God of confusion but of peace,” 1 Corinthians 14:33

  1. Great post and thanks for the reminder to tend to the daily things we need to do.

I have to make a daily “to do” list, otherwise things just don’t get done! More so now that I am not working, I just don’t have the ambition to do things around the house! I think I need to open my daycare back up so I can get back on track with things!
