Do you shop online?

I shop online for quite a few things here lately. In fact, I prefer to shop online whenever I can. I find there is a greater variety, I can get better deals, and often get free shipping and other things that make it truly worthwhile. Plus, who doesn’t like shopping in their PJs? It is definitely easier.
One of the things I’ve grown to love shopping online for is checks. Though I don’t use great deal of them anymore, thanks to my debit card I still write enough to need to purchase them every so often and rather than having the bank order checks I have opted for shopping for my personal checks online instead. The variety is there and I’ve even found the option to get photo checks made of photos of my kids or pets. What a unique way to get your checks printed.
Another thing I shop for online quite a bit is clothes. I have found that you can easily find great deals on your favorite stores websites in the clearance section. I have gotten great deals on my children’s clothes, clothes for myself and my husband this way.
Another thing I really enjoy shopping for online is office supplies and things to use to organize both my office and my home. I have found some amazing deals on these type items. Plus the websites that contain these items always give me great ideas for organizing my home and office. This not only helps me to get organized, but do it on the cheap! What could be better than that?
Then, of course there are gift items. Christmas is just around the corner and I’m sure I’ll be buying mostly online. You can find so many creative gift ideas from buying at the chain stores online or by buying from work at home moms who have their own shops, Ebay store, or even Etsy shops. The variety that is available online is amazing.
Of course, you can’t forget my favorite item to shop for online–Books! I am a book-a-holic and get the best deals online, mostly at Amazon.com. Though I have used Half.com and Ebay as well. Either way, I don’t shop offline for books anymore period. From my textbooks in college, to my everyday reading material these days, online has been my source for books for a long time.
There are obviously many things you can buy online. What do you buy online? Do you prefer online shopping to the walking around the mall kind?

I am actually thrilled to see this post because I too shop online for just about EVERYTHING!!! As a matter of fact I shop online so much that I started my own “Mel’s World Shopping Biz” blog where I can post some of the best deals on shipping, sales, etc. that I find online every day. I love shopping online! I still like to go to the mall for a walk and for certain things, but I find it much easier to buy gifts and other things online (like books!) For example, with books I like when I’m on Amazon that I can read other customer’s reviews of books before I buy.
I already ordered my hubby’s Xmas gift online and I’m thinking about doing most of my Xmas shopping online this year – easier, especially with the kids as they are usually with me when I’m out and it’s hard to shop for them when they are right there!

I love “shopping” online but haven’t made too many purchases online. I will be doing more of that soon since gas is so hard to find here in the south.

Yup, I shop online for everything I possibly can. With 3 boys and a baby on the way it is just so much easier. E-bay and Amazon are my favorites. I have the amazon prime shipping deal so you pay once a year and then it is free 2 day shipping for most things – perfect for me!

Assuming I’m not broke
(or is that wishful thinking?) I love online shopping. Minus clothes. I haven’t had good luck with online clothes shopping. But gift buying heck yeah! Especially since the discovery of Etsy and buying handmade! I love shopping for gifts and shopping for things to make my OWN homemade gifts!
