Announcing My 500th Post Contest
I am so excited to announce my 500th post contest. This contest is in celebration of the fact that I will soon reach 500 posts here on this blog. That’s a lot of blogging people. It is because of you, my readers, that I have continued to stay committed to blogging. Without someone reading and commenting I may have given up this hobby a long time ago. So, it is time to reward you for your loyalty as a reader.
Here’s how the contest will work:
Beginning today, September 1st, each comment made on any new blog post at Life from my Laptop will receive one entry into the contest. Comments must be substantial (meaning more than a “Great post!” Or a “cute picture” type comment). The prize drawing will be held September 30th and will be done at random.
Each winner will receive their choice of prize, first come. first serve from the prize vault. Prize winners will be emailed and must respond via email with their choice. They will then be contacted by the person who donated the prize via email. All prizes were donated by the generosity of the owners. I appreciate their generosity and want to encourage everyone to visit these fine contest sponsors.

Wow!!! 500 posts is quite an accomplishment! I can only hope that my little blog will get to that point in the future. Actually, had it not been for blogging, I might never have considered writing for aliving, which I do now. I would eventually like to either write a book or a screenplay.
