The Bloggers Prayer

Welcome back!

I found this on a blog as I was blog hopping tonight to reward myself for being productive today and getting all my work and domestic tasks handled.  I love this prayer, which i found here.

The Bloggers Prayer

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly – all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that refers to my online friends like they are neighbors that I have known all my life.

Hello Alyssa! What first drew me to your site was your name. I had a little girl in my dance class a couple of years ago named Alyssa Avant. Obviously not the same!

Then, oh this is neat, I found where you had liked the Bloggers Prayer and posted it! Yippee! I thought that was very cool indeed. I read your post for June 14 and realize that right about now you are probably holding that new born baby. When you get a chance, in say, 4 years, come by and say hello! What a blessing to be a new Mommy again, but you are going to be so busy!

    Be blessed.

    Jen
