What a week!
Wow what a week, so much excitement, so much going on! I am truly thankful for not only being a WAHM but being able to do what God has called me to do and being able to pursue my passions. I know there is only more to come in the future that I will be able to enjoy. God is a God of opportunities and blessings. Going to recap my week.
Monday evening I got to spend some time with my girl friends at our monthly TOMGirls meeting. We packed our calendars with events we are doing. Yes, I have a life away from the Internet though some days it may not appear that way. That night we planned 2 baby showers, wrapped up our March of Dimes fund raiser, planned a summer mission project, planned a house warming party, made plans to give a memorial in memory of a friend’s baby who passed away one year ago today, and managed to have prayer time and Bible Study. Two of my friends shared God’s work in their lives, praises and testimonies that HE is alive and well and working through and in us. I was sooo proud for these two friends who have been seeking God’s will for months.
Tuesday I did quite a bit of work online and spend some time with my hubby that afternoon. Wednesday night was church and I made a new commitment, as I am going to be leading a TEAMKID class this summer, beginning in just 2 weeks on both Sunday nights and Wednesday nights with my hubby assisting. Unfortunately since my resignation as youth/children’s minister my husband and I have gotten slack about attending Sunday evening church. I am glad that this will force us to get back involved as we need to be. We are normally every time the church doors are open attenders.
Also on Wednesday, I ran errands and grocery shopped. I literally thought I was going to pass out from exhaustion. A Super Walmart will KILL a 30 week pregnant woman just in walking over it. My goodness gracious. I also had to go to a couple of other stores to get gifts for my MILs birthday and Mother’s Day.
Thursday I spent the day writing a speech for tonight’s event. I am speaking at a church to a ladies’ group tonight at 6:30 in Houston, MS. I am excited about this event and look forward to ministering to the ladies. Say a prayer for me.

I agree..walking around in a super wal-mart grocery shopping will literally exhaust you. I try to avoid it if at all possible now with all these smaller stores around to choose from since we are traveling 30 minutes to get to the “city” anyway.
