Well it has been an equally long time since I have done a Tackle it Tuesday as it has been since I did the Menu Plan Monday I did yesterday. But earlier today my friend Aurelia was Twittering about hers and wanted our participation. So, here I am. I have actually tackled quite a bit today. I have been trying to get motivated to do some Spring Cleaning though my dirty house should be motivation enough. My husband did finally buy me a new vacuum cleaner yesterday. Hopefully this one will do the trick. We have only been married 8 years and I swear we’ve had at least 8 vacuum cleaners. We get cheapos and end up chunking them in the nearest dumpster when they play out on us. So finally, I am the owner of a Kenmore from Sears and soo excited about it. I have vacuumed both last night and this morning and my hard wood floors look superb and my carpets look almost new!

This got me a bit motivated and therefore I continued tackling the following:

1) Vacuuming.

2) Picking Up all my daughters scattered toys.

3) Picking up all my son’s toys (he helped).

4) My son assisted me in scooting my desk out into the living room.

5) Organizing all my office supplies.

6) Cleaning out my desk area of old papers and purging them.

I think that’s a pretty good start, and this is just the beginning as I have put some time aside this week to “Spring Clean”. I am going to also continue to do Tackle it Tuesdays I think they will be helpful to me with my efforts to stay on track with my routines and cleaning.
