I’m nervous and excited today because this afternoon I am leaving to go to speak in Carthage, Mississippi tomorrow to a group of mothers and daughters.  Normally, I don’t get nervous and I’m not exactly sure why I am nervous today.  Maybe it’s because I’m going to be staying over night alone, with a couple in the church, or maybe it’s because it has been a while since my last event.  I’m not exactly sure why I am a little edgy today.

The fact that I went to bed way past bedtime last night and that I woke up with a stomach ache in the middle of the night, and that my water pressure was off this morning and I have yet to shower may have a bit to do with it.  Ya think?

I hope that the rest of the day goes more smoothly, as I pay bills, grab lunch and hopefully get a good shower, all dressed and the van packed before 4 pm.  Wish me well!

Alright, I miss this blog…I can’t take not having it so I’m going to start back up blogging here. This blog is fun, it’s me, and I want to continue it. I want to continue to stay connected to the mommy blogging community so I’m going to continue blogging here. Of course, I’ll try to keep up my blog at alyssaavant.com as well, however it will be more about ministry and spiritual things.

So, I’m back…I’m going to transfer over the past few posts from AlyssaAvant.com and delete anything over there that isn’t spiritual or ministry related. I’m sorry for the shuffling. You know me, I’m a woman who can’t make up her mind. Plus I’m pregnant so that’s my excuse. Glad to be back. I hope you missed me.

Yes, today the ultrasound confirmed that our family will grow in testosterone in July. I am having boy #2. My son is soooo happy. He had said from the time we told him he was having another baby brother or sister that it was a boy baby because he already had a girl baby. I’m excited that he’s sooo happy. We were going to be happy either way. We’re glad we already have a name picked out, Brady Cade. We will call him Brady.
