God’s Provision

Welcome back!

I believe truly that God provides for us.  Right now, God is providing my part of the household income through several avenues.  I began working from home last March, after my daughter Lily was born because I felt that God was calling me to take a step of faith and come home full time.  I would be working on my ministry to girls their moms, Beauty by Design Ministries, and I would be taking care of my children.  This was never my first plan, I did not even realize until I had kids that I didn’t want to send them to daycare.

Then, the ministry has never been something I wanted to or felt good about making money from, so I knew God had to provide for us in some other way.   In October of this year, I was asked to do some writing for a fellow work at home mom.  She gave me rave reviews, so I set up a website and began offering my services as a Writer for Hire or ghostwriter.  Through this I am almost making the income I was making working outside the home.  So far I’ve made more money each month that has followed.   Which is great, and the fact that I love to write, just was never confident enough to do it for others.

It is comforting to know that God is providing whether it be by the means I expected or not.  I just try to do what He has called me to do and allow Him to provide in the way that He sees fit, whether I understand that or not.

Alyssa What a great inspirational story. Sometimes when we are hitting paths we don’t quite understand are the toughest but usually the biggest reward. Thanks for sharing.
