I have been one lucky girl the past day or so, well I say lucky, but what I really mean is blessed. God is taking care of me and so much is going well. However I do have to say “Thank you” to a few people.
First of all my writing business is going really well. If it weren’t for the encouragement of Shannon Cherry to write for others, I would not have done this I don’t believe, or at least not at this time. I am loving writing for others and have several clients, and even retainer clients on a monthly basis already lined up. I am still open to more clients though the retainer slots are going fast.
Secondly, yesterday as I was listening to Mom’s Morning Show I was shocked to find out I won the Lil Squeakers shoes. I had entered the contest on Monday, saying I’d love to have some for Lily who is 8 months old but already pulling up and should be walking in a few months. Well, I won!!! Thanks so much to the owner of Lil Squeakers, Maryann Smith.
Finally, yesterday afternoon Kelly posted on her WAHMTalkRadio Blog that she was going to have an Open Blog Weekend, sort of like an open mic night. She was allowing others to post a blog on her blog about anything, promoting themselves or their product, suggesting a cool tool, whatever. I needed this to promote my writing biz so that’s exactly what I did. I’m not usually one for shameless promotion but this was too good of an opportunity to miss. So, the other thank you goes to Kelly McCausey, host of WAHMTalkRadio. I could thank Kelly for so much because she has been such an influence on my businesses and she knows that, at least I hope she does.
I am always a big fan of saying, “Thank you” whether it is for a small deed or a gigantic favor. Around here at home, I am the queen of Thank you notes.
Well, online this is the next best thing I guess. So ladies, consider this a thank you note!
