My Birthday Gift… gets me organized.

Welcome back!
My birthday, is still weeks away, November 2, but I have ordered my gift and it’s on it’s way to me. I am very excited about this. If you read my blog the other night “A Girl Can Dream, Right?” you know I want an office in my home very badly. However, financially that’s just not in the cards. But, my husband did agree to the next best thing. A custom organizational system for my current office/closet . I am so excited about this!
Here is an example of the type shelving and such that I am getting from The Container Store. The cart I am getting does not look like those pictured here but looks like this.
Very cool huh? Then this is the custom layout that their expert planned with me over the phone based on my specific needs.
You see I have a mega Dell printer and I thought it would NEVER be able to sit on a shelf. I was wrong, The Container Store’s shelves hold a whopping 75 lbs. and my beloved printer only weights 58 lbs. only 58!!! WOW! Anyway, I’m just hoping now that my hubby will be able to assemble the darn thing. I must say he’s not known for his handyman skills. I’ll be posting pictures of this fabulous space as soon as we get the stuff and we’re done!
Oh I meant to also mention that The Container Store’s shelving is on sale until October 21st, so I got quite the deal.

That’s great! Be sure to post before and after pics. What an awesome birthday present. I saw you ladies posting on Twitter the other day about Ikea. There is a new one in my area. Well, it’s about 40 or so miles from me. After hearing y’all going on about it so much, I think I need to schedule me a trip up there one of these weekends.
