I’m new to your site, but have been reading for a few days. I love the content and WOW what a list. I don’t think I could think of 100 things about me, but might be a fun post!
Hi Alyssa! I’m a fellow MM (sharonmc). As fellow mom devoted to her faith I just had to drop you a line. There is such joy in your words and actions. Family life is such a blessing and I can tell, like me, you are enjoying and appreciating the wonderful gifts God you have been given.
You are a great success!
Sharon
I feel like i’m reading the story of my life both in this 100 things & in the roots of your testimony. Is that really weird?!
Looks like God really has several great things going for you in the line of ministry! I’m happy to see that. It’s awesome to know that your really working for the Lord. I hope to be in that same wonderful place shortly. I long to be in the midst instead of in the beginning!
Cheers to compulsive list makers!

I just stumbled across your blog. Keep up the good work!
Not Quite 100 Things About Me: I have daughters nearly your age, but I don’t feel like I can possibly be older than 27 myself.
I have 8 children and the youngest is 6. I also played the trombone. I loved it, but I loved the baritone even more. I majored on baritone and got a degree in music education. I preferred to stay home with my kids even though I love teaching music. I have home-schooled for 18 years. I am supposed to be working on home-schooling records right now, but I was looking up a Christian book online, then I found your blog. Getting online is dangerous like that….
I am also a computer and gadget geek, and so is my husband. I am 5′7″. None of my daughters are taller than I am although my oldest is the same height. my 15-year-old son passed me up last year. I am passionately happily married. I have also had the same tennis shoes since 2003. I only wear them in extremely cold weather as I prefer being barefoot. If I must wear shoes, I wear sandals. I never colored my hair until I hit my 40s - then I began highlighting it. A lifelong brunette, I accidentally became a blonde a few months ago.
I miss my brown hair, but I’m enjoying being different for a while. I believe in marriage for life, but went through a horrible divorce several years ago. Remarkably, I feel more fit for ministry now that I have been through such a horrible fire than I was when I was the wife in a “perfect” (appearing) family. I believe more than ever that God is an awesome God.
I pray for much success in your ministry and your family! I know you’ve been told many times how QUICKLY time flies by with your children, because I was told that millions of times. But it is SO true, and no matter how often you are told, the swiftness of it will still take your breath away!
Keep up the good work sister. You seem to have a beautiful spirit. Thank you for sharing a little of yourself.
