Well, one of them. Today if all goes well we’ll find out if we’re having a baby boy or girl. :) I can’t wait. My appt. and ultra sound is at 2:30 pm. The youth are excited and want me to text them all at the same time to tell them what it is. They are sooo funny about it! So, until later, I’ll let ya’ll wait with them and myself in anticipation. Let you know as soon as I do!

Wow I’m tired. Today my youth, their parents and myself cleaned out the youth house at church. Cleaned out is actually an understatement. The house had beeen furnished basically with hand me down furniture no one else wanted anymore. We had 5 recliners that were full of dirt, and half working, we had 2 couches, one a sleeper sofa that were in about the same shape. This was in our youth room. All of this furniture got hauled off. We then had 2 old Foosball tables, a ping pong table (which we kept) and my cousins had just donated the youth a pool table in September which the youth absolutely love. We in fact swapped our youth meeting room and our game room so that they would have more room to play pool. We took up the rug in there too that had been spilled on and everything and the mildewy smell after cleaning for hours has subsided. There was mold growing in our youth room. THe house itself was built in the 1940s and has major mold and mildew issues. The wiring we recently learned is rotted and the church is paying to have the whole place rewired. The work is still being done. In fact today we didn’t have lights or electricity in several rooms. There is no hot water. But, at least after today it is clean. The rug in the youth room, which is now the game room is removed revealing some nice hard wood floors which have now been shined and are actually slick to walk on. Our new youth room is carpeted and pretty nice actually, each youth gets to bring their own chair of their choosing, we thought it’d be cool for them to personalize it. You know a butterfly chair, a mushroom chair, a directors chair, a camoflauge hunting chair, whatever they desire. We did happen to find me a chair in the storage building out by the church, it is a rocker and I am going to get a cushion for it. It is the perfect new mommy to be (again) chair. The kids and parents worked really hard today and I think they are all proud of their work. It really looks spectacular, and smells, OHHH so much better in there.

Today I finally got to go Christmas Shopping. I was sooo excited and we did very well. Spending CASH felt sooo free! YEp! We’re paying CASH for Christmas. No credit cards! What a concept?? LOL
We finished up Baker’s Santa, minus the stocking stuffers. I will do that later. We got stuff for Greg’s brother, my dad, his dad, his aunt and uncle, my brother. We did so well and got so many great deals!
Then, Greg and I went to Macaroni Grill for my birthday lunch, he and I didn’t get to celebrate yesterday so we did it today instead. It was absolutely yummy. Greg had never been there and was sceptical but he had to give me kudos for suggesting it. He let me pick since it was my birthday and I hadn’t gotten to go to one since I was in High School. It’s Italian and YUM -O!
We had way more food than I needed so we brought some of mine home, I’m still not hungry but when I do get hungry I”m going to enjoy the rest! Tomorrow will be busy. I have a work day at the youth house set for church. I hope some folks show up to work. I sure won’t be doing anythin by myself. Tomorrow night we have a SUnday School party but Greg and I haven ‘t decided for sure that we’re going to attend, I”ll make up my mind after the work day and see how pooped I am. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well it’s officially my birthday. I am 26 years YOUNG!
Or so they tell me I”m still a youngin. Last night my youth and I celebrated my birthday and one of my youth girl’s, Adrienne’s birthday hers was on October 31, her boyfriend, and my youth, JON made our birthday cake, chocolate yum-O!
Today I have been to get my hair cut by my friend Melanie, she did a great job! Then, my friend Billie and I went to eat Mexican. She treated me, thanks Billie, and I had a chicken fajita quesadilla. Then, I also went and spend my birthday $ of course, a girl can’t keep birthday cash for very long. I got a cute new black alligator skin purse, a maternity top, and some bath and body works. the girl at Bath & Body Works gave me a spa manicure. It was wonderful. I bought some hand soaps to put in my bathroom, kitchen and master bath, some cherry blossom creamy body wash, and some shea butter stuff for my dry skin. I love that store!
Tomorrow, Greg and I are going Christmas shopping! YIPPEE! I can’t wait, we’ll also go out to eat for my birthday while we’re out! I did order Greg another present this morning, he figured it out already it’s a pair of Justin workboots, I got a good deal!
I have had a great birthday! Thanks everyone!
The picture is of me and Adrienne last night at our party at the youth house!
